Flooring and remodeling, city by city

Last updated: July 9, 2026

Cumming Floors works out of Cumming and drives to Sugar Hill, Johns Creek, and Suwanee every week. Each city below has its own pages for floor installation, hardwood sanding and refinishing, kitchen remodeling, and bathroom remodeling — sixteen in all, each written around that city’s housing stock.

Four cities, four pages each

Cumming

Home base. Around the downtown square the housing stock leans to eighties and nineties ranches and split-levels — where solid oak often hides under old carpet — while the newer construction south of downtown usually needs builder-grade floors upgraded rather than rescued.

Neighborhoods we serve in Cumming include Vickery, Windermere, Creekstone Estates, Three Chimneys Farm, Lake Astoria, Eagles Landing, Hampton Golf Village, and Mountain Crest.

Sugar Hill

Just across the county line in north Gwinnett, a short run down GA-20 from our side of Lake Lanier. Sugar Hill mixes long-established neighborhoods with newer townhomes, which keeps our refinishing and LVP crews about equally busy there.

Neighborhoods we serve in Sugar Hill include White Oak, Lanier Springs, Somerset, Pinnacle at Pinecrest, Parkview at Shadowbrook, Country Meadows, and The Refinery Sugar Hill.

Johns Creek

Johns Creek’s swim-and-tennis subdivisions went up fast through the eighties and nineties, and their generous main levels are hardwood territory. It is also a resale market where redone floors carry real weight at listing time.

Neighborhoods we serve in Johns Creek include Country Club of the South, St. Ives Country Club, Medlock Bridge, The Falls of Autry Mill, Sugar Mill, Oxford Mill, and Rivermont.

Suwanee

The family neighborhoods around Suwanee Town Center run from nineties builds to newer construction, and projects there skew toward whole-main-level work — one floor, one color, kitchen included, usually timed around a busy school calendar.

Neighborhoods we serve in Suwanee include The River Club, Olde Atlanta Club, Grand Cascade, Riverbrooke, Wild Timber, Rivermist, and Bears Best Edinburgh.
